The sequel to the intense strategy/action gameoriginally based on interactive military simulations. As squad leader, playerscoordinate the actions of multiple infantry fire teams, leading them through avariety of hostile environments. An intuitive control scheme allows direction ofsquads in real-time as players outthink, outmaneuver and outgun enemies throughmore than 12 levels of intense warfare. Players will utilize authenticbattlefield tactics as they confront the enemy with a deadly arsenal of weapons,the latest military equipment, and new Player-controlled mechanized units. Withan enhanced multiplayer mode, players can go online and battle friends through avariety of new head-to-head and co-op objective-based missions.
Airstrike: When facing superior numbers of entrenched enemies orwhen confronted by enemy armor, one option is to call in air support. Given thecorrect targeting information, the choppers can decisively tear up the terrainand clear a path for your squad.Buddy Teams: Surrounded? Traversing tricky terrain? Your four-man teamcan split into two-man buddy teams to cover all the angles and maneuver into theperfect position.Mechanized Units: You command the firepower of mechanized unitsallowing you to destroy heavily armored targets or entrenched enemies. Bringyour infantry along in tandem to destroy any anti-armor enemies you encounter.You can use your mechanized units armor as portable cover for your men.Precision Fire: Control the firing ability of individual soldiers insituations requiring careful aim. This allows you to pick off specificenemies, as well as to suppress them or launch explosive devices like 203grenades.Interior Firing Positions: Move inside buildings and set up firingpositions from elevated windows. This gives you the advantage of high ground,denying cover to your enemies.Scouting: Send a single soldier to scout a location for ambushesand snipers before sending the entire team. A scouting soldier who encountersopposition will immediately return to the team. Otherwise, your squad advancesto his position.
Multiplayer:Ammo Blast: A large Mujahideen munitions dump is located in the Galleryof the Arts Center. The insurgents are currently divided into warring factions.An aggressive and determined American force must find and destroy the munitionsbefore the insurgents can unite and defend it.Bring Me Tariq Al-Sadif: Former Al-Afad minister, Tariq al-Sadif hasstolen a national Zeki treasure. The Mujahideen want to capture him as a traitorto Al-Afad. The Anser al-Raid want the treasure as a symbol of theirascendancy to power. The Zeki militia want to return the treasure to the peopleof Zekistan, and some British mercenaries just want to get rich. They all battleeach other in a mad scramble to capture al-Sadif.Radio Clash: The Anser al-Raid is broadcasting propaganda from aprotected radio tower and is slowly gaining public support. Coalition forces aredetermined to silence the broadcasts and put a stop to the al-Raidresurgence, but the insurgents know the value of communication and aredetermined to protect their tower.Take The Citadel: The historic Monastery of Tien Hamir serves as theAnser al-Raid base and as a symbol of Northern Zeki independence. TheMujahideen have breached the walls in an attempt to topple Raids power inthe region. Each side is eager to gain supporters and destroy the others baseof operations. Whoever gains control of the monastery has won a symbolicallyimportant battle.Daring Rescue: A US helicopter has been shot down. However, there aresurvivors and Captain Fredricks is determind to rescue them. The Mujahideen,flush with excitement over the downed chopper, know that more Americans are ontheir way and are laying in wait to ambush the would-be rescuers.Explosive Situation: A fanatical faction of the Anser al-Raid hasannounced that it will explode bombs at selected targets at 7:00pm as ademonstration of their power. American intel knows which locations they aretargeting. To undercut this violent public relations stunt, the Americansscamble to prevent the explosions.Among The Snipers: An American gunship has crashed into the darkwaters of the Khamar River. Two wounded pilots have swum to safety, only to becaptured by the Anser al-Raid. The al-Raid insurgents want to use theprisoners as political pawns and have them guarded by elite snipers. TheAmericans must proceed with extreme caution to rescue their wounded comrades.
